The University Business Linkage Cell , University of Ruhuna, signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Jayadi Food Products to advance the
commercialization of a cereal-based breakfast product developed by Prof. K. G. Somasiri, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine.
The NDA was signed at the TTO Director’s Office by Mr. Nimal Jayawardana Pathiranage (Managing Director, Jayadi Food Products) and Dr. Lahiru Prabodha
(Director, UBL), with Mr. T. N. Marambage and Ms. U. L. Yuganthi Darshani witnessing for the company, and Prof. Amaranath Karunanayake and Ms. K. P.
Sanduni Chathurika witnessing for the university.
This agreement strengthens university–industry collaboration and promotes the translation of research into innovative products.
