Signing NDA between the University of Ruhuna and Navigata Foods (Pvt) Ltd – 25th September 2025

The University Business Linkage Cell, University of Ruhuna, signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Navigata Foods (Pvt) Ltd to advance the commercialization of an avocado-based spread developed by Dr. A. A. M. Subodinee, Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture.

The NDA was signed by Mr. Pradeep Rajapaksha (Director, Navigata Foods) and Dr. Lahiru Prabodha (Director, UBL), with Ms. Dulanjanee Dissanayake and Mr. Buddhika Rathnayaka witnessing for the company, and Ms. Chamila Ranasinghe and Ms. K. P. Sanduni Chathurika witnessing for the university.

This agreement strengthens university–industry collaboration and promotes the translation of research into innovative products..
