The Technology Transfer Office (TTO), University of Ruhuna, successfully conducted the 6th Advisory Board Meeting on 9th February at 9.00 a.m. at the
New Senate Room, chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna.
The meeting was attended by both internal and external members of the TTO Advisory Board, along with the Chairman and Director of the Southern Province
Industrial Development Authority (SPIDA), reflecting the continued strengthening of university–industry collaboration.
In conjunction with the Advisory Board Meeting, three research agreements
between the University of Ruhuna and the Southern Province Industrial
Development Authority (SPIDA), originating from the Faculties of Medicine,
Science, and Technology, were formally signed based on selected research
outcomes identified for development and commercialization.
During the meeting, the progress of the Technology Transfer Office was also
discussed, with emphasis on ongoing initiatives, achievements, and future directions aimed at fostering innovation and strengthening research–industry
linkages.
