Ruhuna Invention and Innovation Exhibition 2023 – (RIIE) – 2023 June 05

The Southern Province Invention and Innovation Exhibition was successfully held on 5th of June , 2023 at the Physics Department Auditorium, University of Ruhuna. This remarkable event provided a platform for innovators across the region to showcase their talents and creativity, featuring approximately 695 inventions in the school category, 40 inventions in the open category, and 40 university-level inventions. The tournament was organized in collaboration with the Ceylon Inventions Commission and concluded with great success.
This initiative goes beyond being an exhibition; it represents a dedicated effort to harness innovative ideas for the advancement of the nation. With this vision in mind, plans are underway to hold an award ceremony in the coming days to celebrate the achievements of the participants and their invaluable contributions.
